The Proteas have named their 15-player squad for a white-ball tour of Namibia, with Bjorn Fortuin appointed captain and Duan Jansen earning his maiden national call-up.
Proteas Men's X account announced the squad on Tuesday, 11 August 2026. South Africa will play Namibia and Zimbabwe in a T20I tri-series from 28 August to 6 September at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
The squad will then stay in Windhoek for a three-match ODI series against Namibia from 9 to 13 September.

Duan Jansen gets first Proteas call-up
Jansen is the newest international addition after impressing for the Momentum Multiply Titans domestically.
The ODI series will also make history, with the Proteas confirming it will be the first-ever 50-over series between South Africa and Namibia.
The tour gives Fortuin his first opportunity to lead this Proteas group while Jansen looks to make his international debut.
