Mamelodi Sundowns top striker Peter Shalulile was recently handed a new car following his stellar displays for the reigning Premier Soccer League champions.
The Namibian international was on target when they beat Chippa United 2-1 in the league on Monday to ensure they clinched a record of 20 league matches without a single defeat.
Since joining the Brazilians at the beginning of the current season, Shalulile has been a revelation for the current Nedbank Cup champions.
He has scored 15 goals and provided seven assists out of 28 matches this term across all competitions. Following this he has been gifted a brand new SUV from sponsors, Hyundai.
It is reported that the 27-year-old was initially handed the Hyundai Creta after winning the Hyundai Supporters Player of the Month award on two occasions.
As he continued to bang in goals, the former Highlands Park star was handed keys to the new Hyundai Tucson vehicle by coach Manqoba Mngqithi. Shalulile told Hyundai SA as per KickOff.com:
“I really like it, it's very comfortable I can see also, and the handing over was something special because everyone was there, you know the coach giving me the key - that was special to me and something I will always cherish.”
In other news, Briefly News reported that media reports in North Africa suggest that Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane has set his sights on landing Shalulile.
The former Masandawana boss is hoping to bolster his ranks, especially upfront, and has been linked with the Namibian international.
