The couple had also received some funds from FIFA and Otuoma's wife, Rachael, thought they should build a two-bedroom bungalow in their rural home.

They went to lay the foundation despite the ailing former striker's deteriorating health requiring assistance to board the plane.

What is ALS?

Ezekiel suffers from motor neurone disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The WebMD reports that the latter occurs when specialist nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord called motor neurones stop working properly.

"It's been four years since my hubby started feeling unwell, the whole situation being a roller coaster is an understatement, but our God has been faithful.," said beautiful Rachael.
"Today with so much humility, my husband and I say thank you to our TikTok family for supporting us this far. We finally have a home to call our own," she added.

Behold Rachael's tasteful furnishing

The beautiful bungalow is a brick affair with a triangular roof. The inside is such a sight to behold as Mrs Otuoma went out of her way to tastefully furnish it.

The grey curtains compliment the well-laid tiles which have some grey in them. They were all carefully chosen to match the sofa set, which takes the place of prominence in the room.

The entertainment centre holds a cute TV stand and television where the couple can spend some time entertaining themselves.

The completion of the house is no mean feat as the couple continues to struggle with the footballer's condition, and so far, people have been helping the sweet couple face it and get him help.
