Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior is the overwhelming favourite to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or award tonight.
The Brazilian had a hugely successful 2023/24 campaign with his club and has become one of the world's best players.

The 24-year-old has scored over 90 goals for Real Madrid and provided 82 assists. He scored in the 2022 and 2024 Champions League finals.
Zidane's comment on Vinicius Jr
Vinicius Jr played 90 games under Zidane and registered 11 goals and 11 assists, per Transfermarkt.
In 2019, Zidane, the coach at Real Madrid, lauded the Brazilian star and predicted his success.
“He has the confidence of his coach, which is me," he said via Sportbible. “Vinicius represents the future of Madrid, it will just take time. Sometimes he doesn't play. But, I have full faith in Vinicius, and I'm counting on him.”
Vinicius Jr is in his seventh season at Real Madrid and has done exceptionally well.
