As the two fighters prepared to face-off, Paul crawled towards Tyson, stepped on his foot and stood in front of him.

The former heavyweight champion immediately slapped the YouTuber-turned-fighter. Tyson had to be held back as Paul stood in disbelief.

Before the unexpected incident, the 58-year-old received huge cheers while the much younger Paul was taunted.

In the weigh-in, Paul came in at 103 kilograms, while Tyson came in at 103.6 kilograms.

"It's personal now. He must die!" Tyson said via ESPN.
"I didn't even feel it. He's angry. He's an angry little elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap buddy but tomorrow night I'm knocking you out," Paul said via Indy100.

Tyson has not fought professionally in nearly two decades. The fight was postponed in July after the veteran suffered a medical setback.

Why Tyson lost to Douglas

Briefly News earlier explained the real reason why Tyson lost to Buster Douglas in February 1990.

The then-undefeated and undisputed heavyweight champion, Tyson, was knocked out by the underdog, Douglas.

He lost his heavyweight championship belt for the first time due to a wild two-day party with 24 women leading up to the fight.
