Marcus Rashford Speaks After First Training Under New Man United boss Ruben Amorim
- Ruben Amorim took his first training as Manchester United coach, and players like Marcus Rashfoord seemed to enjoy it
- Amorim is preparing his team for the Premier League clash at Ipswich, his first match as Red Devils boss
- Most players are yet to get back from international duty, but it appears players are loving Amorim's sessions
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has spoken after training for the first time under his new coach, Ruben Amorim.
The new Red Devils coach took his first training session on Monday, three weeks after his appointment. The former Sporting CP will coach his first game this weekend against Ipswich away from home.
Rashford reacts to Amorim training
Rashford was among the Man United players who seemed to enjoy Amorim's first training session. Only 10 senior players were available for Monday's session.
The winger shared a photo on his Instagram story with the words "top session today." The 27-year-old was not the only player who enjoyed the session.
Veteran midfielder Casemiro also wrote "top training" on his Instagram. The two players will likely start on Sunday. The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last four matches since Erik ten Hag's dismissal.
Casemiro and Rashford were regulars under former boss Erik ten Hag, but Amorim's style could make them work harder for their spot.
They are 13th in the Premier League after 11 games but are only four points off the top four.
Amorim warmly embraces players
In a related report, Briefly News reported that Ruben Amorim wasted no time getting to know his new team, warmly meeting Manchester United players on Tuesday.
The Portuguese coach, appointed two weeks ago to succeed Erik ten Hag, will debut in the dugout on 24 November against Ipswich Town.
How Man United will play under Amorim
Briefly News earlier reported that Amorim briefly described how Manchester United could play when he takes charge for his first game.
He emphasised that he wants his team to play "without fear," meaning we will see a much more attacking style at Old Trafford. Amorim's Sporting played a 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-3 formation, which will be unfamiliar to most players.
