He admits that when they first crossed paths, he was already in a relationship but felt an immediate connection with her.
Though young and enjoying a vibrant social life, he says he knew from the outset she was his future wife. After ending his previous relationship, the couple began dating, eventually marrying and raising two children together.
Public figures who have been rumoured to have dated Kolisi
Amid the media storm, social media personality Zuki Lamani was wrongfully pulled into the divorce rumours.
Lamani, who had publicly expressed admiration for Kolisi years ago, firmly denies any involvement and has openly challenged the claims on social platforms.
Further speculation linked Kolisi to former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, but this was quickly disproved when Tunzi married earlier this year.
With the noise now settled, Kolisi’s focus is unwavering. His dedication to the sport and to being a father remains steadfast despite the personal changes in his life.

Life after the divorce?
Kolisi and Rachel have two children together: son Nicholas Siyamthanda (born 2014) and daughter Keziah (born 2017).
The children mostly stay with their mother, who is the primary caregiver, but Kolisi often spends quality time with them, embodying being a present father regardless of no longer being together with their mother.
Rachel took to her social media account, sharing a candid glimpse into the challenges of co-parenting and highlighting an emotional moment as their children travelled alone to visit their father, on her TikTok account, on 9 July 2025.
She revealed that it was the first time the kids would be flying alone to see their dad without her, which was "hard" for her.
Family time in Gqeberha
During his recovery from an injury that sidelined him for a few games, Kolisi took the opportunity to travel to his hometown of Gqeberha, where he spent quality time with his family.
The Springbok star shared beautiful pictures of his time with loved ones, receiving warm reactions from fans online. Many praised him for prioritising what matters most, family, even during a challenging period in his playing career.
