Eben Etzebeth’s daughter stole the show during the Springboks’ official team photo shoot, with the youngster captured watching the proceedings before getting involved in an important piece of preparation for her famous father.
The Springbok superstar took to Instagram on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, to reflect on the Springboks vs All Blacks rivalry, writing:
"What a rivalry! Privileged to be involved in it!"
But it wasn't the lock forward who captured hearts this time — it was his tiny daughter, who turned the behind-the-scenes moments into the most talked-about part of his post.

In one photo, the little girl was photographed watching the Springboks' official team photo shoot, wide-eyed among the giants of South African rugby. In another, she was spotted crouched over her dad's rugby boots, working diligently on his studs ahead of what appeared to be a big match-day preparation.
A little helper in the boot room
The boot-tightening moment, in particular, sent the internet into a spin. Fans immediately latched onto the image of the tiny youngster taking her pre-match duties very seriously indeed.

Springbok superstar, doting dad
Eben and his wife, singer and actress Anlia Etzebeth, welcomed their first daughter in January 2024, followed by baby Lia in October 2025.
