Cassper Nyovest Responds to Criticism of Amapiano Single: "Written by Me"

- South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has had to come to the defence of his Amapiano sound yet again

- After dropping yet another Amapiano single, Cassper was met with some criticism from some social media users

Cassper Nyovest has had to defend himself once again after a troll came after his new sound.

The rapper recently released a track called Siyathandana. Many enjoyed the song and were loving Cassper’s Amapiano sound, however one particular social media user was less than impressed.

The user said that Cassper “ruined” the song. Seeing the post, Cassper decided to respond:

“Y’all do know that’s my song, right? Like I am not featured on the song. I wrote it. The melody Boohle is singing was written by me. Like I made the song with Abidoza before Boohle blessed it and took it out the roof. Y’all pretending I asked to be on the song or I bought it.”

Meanwhile Briefly News reported that Cassper Nyovest has hinted at releasing a new Amapiano album soon. The rapper took to social media on Wednesday, 24 March and shared that he has reached "GOAT" level when it come to hip-hop and is ready to just have fun with music.

He shared that his Amapiano album is ready and it is as hot as his hip-hop tunes. The star replied to a fan on Twitter:

"Surely I've reached GOAT LEVEL now. It's time to have fun with it and let it ride out or what? This piano album is also something else I tell you. Can't wait to drop."

Mufasa, who dropped his rap album Any Minute Now a few months ago, has been featured in many banging Amapiano tracks. Cass believes that it's now the right time for him to drop his own Yanos tunes. His fans have reacted to his tweet.
