It has been a while since queen B and DJ Zinhle’s baby daddy called it quits, and now she finally shared how the breakup affected her.

On a recent episode of her reality show, Matheba admitted she cried a lot over her former bae, but like they say, time heals all wounds.

"Let me tell you how I got over my break-up, I used to cry and cry for days, I locked myself up for days and I eventually got over it.", she was quoted saying.

The South African beauty also spoke about dating famous men, adding she was not bothered about the status of the guy, she fell in love with the person.

"It's difficult and it takes a lot of patience. It's not just the two of you in that relationship but the prying eyes of fans and the public at large. I've learnt the trick is not to pay attention to what the person does for a living - fall in love with the human being.", she said.

Matheba has been very verbal about her love life recently. As Briefly.co.za reported previously, Queen B opened up about being cheated on, abused and humiliated.

But, she stays strong, adding everyone goes through heartbreak, no matter who you are.

"No one is immune to heartbreak. You can be a superstar, have all the money in the world and grace the cover of True Love, but your heart will be broken. That's my life lesson! How you react to heartbreak builds your character and will strengthen you. You reach rock bottom and it forces you to get up and pull yourself together," she told True Love.

Luckily, Queen B is not letting heartbreak get her down- she is living her life to the fullest. Matheba has been spotted travelling to exotic destinations with her bestie and putting all her energy into her work.

"I spend most weeks out of the country and I am just travelling. I love seeing new people and being in new places, but South Africa is always home."
