Ntsiki Mazwai is not a fan of the government's R350 relief grant and believes the president would not survive on the amount so it's unreasonable to expect South Africans to live on it.

In a series of tweets posted online on Wednesday, the outspoken poet said she wondered if President Cyril Ramaphosa could survive with the amount they are offering to South Africans.

Mazwai wrote on her Twitter account:

"I wonder if the president could survive on R350 a month."

Mazwai said that R350 would not even cover some people's rent and she added that the amount would not be enough to buy meat or wine.

She added that R1 000 per person for six months would be a more suitable relief during this time.

"Guys R1 000 per ID for six months is realistic."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported Mazwai made a hilarious, but serious, generalised statement about the size of Mzansi men's 'nanas'.

Stating that she finds most Mzansi men have smaller parts, Ntsiki got social media going. While many found this amusing, especially women, the proud men of Mzansi did not - the comments were brilliant.
