Zambia's Football Association addresses Milutin Sredojevic scandal

Zambia's national football team's head coach Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic was accused of sexual abuse in South Africa for a second time. Now The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has spoken out about the accusations.
FAZ stated that they had been made aware of the allegations and that Sredojevic had pleaded "not guilty" to anything he was accused of. FAZ also said that Sredojevic would be releasing a statement of his own.
FAZ added that they were unable to comment about the accusations at the time. They are waiting to be "fully briefed" on the incidents by both Sredojevic ad his legal representatives.

According to Sunday World, Sredojevic was granted bail of R10 000 bail due to the accusations made by 39-year-old Port Elizabeth woman. News24 reported that his next court appearance will be on 25 February, 2021.
Briefly.co.za previously reported on Sredojevic's arrest in PE. Micho was taken into custody by South African officials over sexual harassment allegations.
Sredojevic is currently heading the Zambian national team had been in the region as part of a scouting programme with the U20 Zambian team. Kick-Off reported that the National Prosecuting Authority had issued a statement confirming the 51-year-old's arrest.
It was also reported that Zamalek SC had sacked Sredojević after only 137 days. The former Pirates coach had failed to deliver during his short stint at the Egyptian team. The team's poor performance under Micho's guidance led to Zamalek SC fans calling for his head.
The club's president, Mortada Mansour, made up his mind on Micho's future. At the time, Mansour said he was set to meet with Micho to discuss "personal issues" before announcing the decision. Micho was the team's coach for only 137 days before he was sacked.
