Guinea's short-statured musician Grand P seems to be causing ripples and is now attracting big names in the industry.
Grand P first made a name for himself after announcing his relationship with 'African Kim Kardashian', plus-size model Eudoxie Yao of Ivory Coast.
Many people trolled Grand P, whose real name is Moussa Sandiana Kaba, for dating the voluptuous lady, with quite a number wondering how he was managing his boo's curvy figure.
The musician, who doubles up as actor and social media personality, never let the trolls get to his head as he strived to make a name for himself in the continent. Well, it seems the gods are still smiling at him as he recently landed a collab with Lingala maestro Koffi Olomide.
Grand P linked up with the Congolese star recently and worked on something he promised will be big upon release.
The good news was first shared by Grand P through his official social media pages where he wrote Wednesday, December 30.
“Soon we will do a collab featuring Koffi [Olomidé] and me."
His post attracted the attention of many people, including his fans who expressed their joy and excitement as they wait for the collab.
Koffi also shared a video of themselves having fun on his Facebook page.
Many lauded Koffi for not looking down on the Guinean artist and giving him the chance to shine even more.
This came barely months after Grand P made headlines with his announcement that he would be vying for Guinea's top seat in the upcoming general election.
"I declare my candidacy for the 2020 presidential election in Guinea. May God bless Guinea," he said.
Some took it seriously while others passed it off as one of his many informal jokes on social media.
