This morning Norma Mgnoma, formerly know as Norma Gigaba, won her case against the Hawks in the Gauteng High Court. Miss Mngoma had claimed her arrest and subsequent execution was unlawful.

As soon as the news was shared online, locals flocked to various social media sites to share their thoughts on the court ruling. While many congratulated Mngoma on her swift victory, others still had questions about the drama that had engulfed her life in 2020 following her separation with the former minister, Malusi Gigaba.

Briefly.co.za has taken some time to compile some of the various tweets dedicated to Norma Mngoma's victory in court. Read a few of them below:

@MzimaEngine said:

"It was unlawful, to be honest. It was clear that Malusi used his political connections to have them arrest her."

@xolani_emma said:

"Is it lawful to vandalize somebody's property?"

@athenko0680040 said:

"Normal police should have been used. No need for hawks in the matter."

@sirboring_26 said:

"So are they gonna arrest Malusi for using his political influence to use state entities to settle personal matters No cause the ANC is above the law."

@TonySto74753556 said:

"So, Gigaba abused his privileged position. However, it reflects very poorly on the Hawks whose function is to prevent, combat, and investigate national priority offenses, in particular serious organised crime, serious commercial crime, and serious corruption. Norma was only a wife."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Norma Mngoma is quickly letting go last year's drama and moving on with her life. A recent snap that she shared on her Instagram page has left South Africans wondering has she also moved on to a new man.

While both Mngoma and the young man, who has been identified only as Siyanda, both referred to each other as "fam" which means that they consider each other more like family than anything else, Mzansi could not help but speculate whether or not the hunky man was actually a part of Mngoma's new love life.

"Happy birthday to this sweetest soul and my favourite human being, continue to be a gentleman and well mannered. May God richly bless you with so many years to come. Love you bhuti wam @siyanda_rsa," she sweetly captioned the post.
