DJ Tira recently attended the launch of Somizi’s sneaker range at Galleria mall in the south coast of Durban. The music producer happily showed support for Somizi’s new project and even took along his Afrotainment family.
Present at the festivities was Tira himself, the Qwabe twins and the man of the moment, Somizi.
Tira captioned the post:
"Somizi X Bathu fire combo"

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Somizi is definitely a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. When he is not choreographing brilliant dance moves, entertaining on his reality tv show, or cooking up a storm with local stars, he is apparently collaborating with sneaker companies to produce his own line of dope sneaks.
It was recently revealed in tweet by Kgopolo Mphela that Somgaga had collaborated with Bathu sneakers a proudly South African sneaker company, to release a line of his own, the BathuXSomizi range.
"Somizi has collaborated with the successful local sneaker brand Bathu to release his own signature line. #BathuXSomizi range drops today #KgopoloReports," Mphela tweeted.
Of course many local celebs such as DJ Zinhle, Rami Chuene, and Noeleen Maholwana Sangqu - all looking fabulous of course - were in attendance to offer their support to the very dedicated and hardworking Somizi.
Meanwhile locals had this to say:
@Jabulee4 asked:
"The sneakers are beautiful but do they have his name on them or merely written bathu?"
@paulaice said:
"Yaasss.. Love to see these kinda collaborations."
@Tumi_MrsL said:
"Congratulations to Somgaga."
