In related news, Briefly.co.za reported recently that Nasty C has every reason to celebrate after his track Black and White, featuring US singer Ari Lennox, was chosen to be part of the Coming 2 America tracklist.
The rapper recently dropped the video for the track and it has received positive responses. The video was directed by the talented Kyle White, who also directed the Jerusalema music video. In an exclusive comment to Briefly.co.za, White opened up about the video shoot experience:
"It was an absolute pleasure to work with such an incredible talent and icon like Nasty C. The level of professionalism Nasty C has on set is awe-inspiring. After each take he is ready for the next.
"When we were shooting the video, there was a stage where we were concerned about the bad weather that seemed to be coming over Cape Town. We really wanted a beautiful, sunlit sunset for the main performance at the end of the day. Remarkably, God answered our prayers and the clouds parted perfectly for us to get that all important performance shot."
The video was shot in America and Cape Town and shows the story of long-distance lovers.
