President Ramaphosa's Biggest Fan, 4, Meets Her Favourite Hero

Mehran Dildar - age four and self-proclaimed "biggest fan" of the President - had her dream come true in Durban on Thursday when she finally got the chance to meet her hero.
The little girl's videos caught President Cyril Ramaphosa's attention after Dildar started tagging the presidency's social media accounts.
On March 26 the family received a call from the office of the President letting Mehran know he had been watching her videos and would be happy to meet the budding leader.

According to TimesLIVE, Mehran and her family couldn't believe it at first, thinking the request from the presidency was a hoax. But once President Cyril Ramaphosa's interest could be confirmed, Mehran's mother Fatima Dildar says it was just a matter of keeping things secret till a meeting was arranged:
'This process was very strict and confidential. On Thursday they fetched us and only disclosed the location en route. We met him at a programme during his visit to the Durban port. His security team, however, came twice to meet Mehran at home so she could get acquainted with them.”
Her mother Fatima told TimesLIVE on Friday that Mehran was still reeling from her meeting with Ramaphosa.
“She woke up this morning and said, 'Mummy, I met the president!' The president was so calm and patient with her. He asked her for her name and age and why she was there... he thanked her, encouraged her and wished her well.”
Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that at only four years old, Mehran Dildar has already made a name for herself through her fondness for President Cyril Ramaphosa and for being informative.
Mehran Dildar's wish is to meet her favourite person in the world, the president. While waiting for her dream of meeting her hero to come true, she currently expresses her fondness by sticking Ramaphosa’s pictures on her cupboard in her room and she often records videos of herself pretending to be the president.
At her age, she has already won hundreds of hearts through her confidence and courage to express herself. She's informative and is up-to-date with current affairs.
