- Sophie Ndaba hogged the headlines on Tuesday after it was alleged that her marriage to Max Lichaba is over
- Reports claim that the pair no longer live together after Sophie caught Max cheating, which is something she will not accept
- Sources report that Sophie confronted the alleged side chick, who is currently living in the Northern Cape
Sophie Ndaba and Max Lichaba have reportedly split up. The pair moved out of their rented home in Joburg and have gone back to their respective homes.
According to reports, the breakdown of the marriage is due to alleged cheating by Max Lichaba.
According to Surge Entertainment, the actress caught her husband cheating while he was staying in the Northern Cape. She confronted the side chick, who told her that Max had alleged that a divorce was pending.
Briefly News had previously reported that South African actress Sophie Lichaba has made headlines for her rapid weight loss over the years. She has mostly attributed it to being diagnosed with diabetes. The actress has now also opened up about her battle with depression, which blinded her to the severe weight loss.
Speaking on Radio 2000 recently, the former Generations actress said that the weight loss resulted from her going through a dark period in her life.
“I was at the deepest point of depression. I can't even explain it. When I think about it, I am like 'God, you saved me' because I would look in the mirror and see the same voluptuous woman. You wear the same clothes, the same style at that size and you still think it is normal. That is how deep it was, I couldn't see a thing."
Sophie only realised that things were bad when she saw pictures of herself on social media. She admitted that the hardest part was accepting that her body no longer looked healthy. The source of her depression came from the many fake reports of her death that trended on social media last year.
Briefly News reported that Sophie Lichaba is sick and tired of the rumours surrounding her health. The actress has slammed the recent reports that she was hospitalised due to poor health.
According to the claims, Lichaba was fighting for her life. But the beloved media personality is perfectly fine. She, however, was not fine with the cruel rumour-mongering. Taking to Instagram, Sophie posted:
“Happy Sunday, Angels. I was reminded yet again that the devil is never happy with one’s restoration. As he meddles I move forward. Olebetse Satane whose daughter I am. Living my life like its Golden. And it is!!"
