Dolly posted a throwback photograph of herself from earlier days in entertainment and wrote a caption that expressed how her birthday wish was a call to kindness.

Dolly wrote:

"Thank you for all of the love on my birthday. This year my wish is a call for kindness. We can’t just hope for a brighter day, we have to work for a brighter day. So today, January 19th, let’s get to unearthing love."

Dolly showed her kindness to humanity as the star gave her support, and money, to coronavirus research. Just after the Covid-19 crisis had been declared a pandemic, Dolly donated $1 million dollars to Vanderbilt University's research into the virus.
