Netizens react to the new information about the DJ's murder case
Shortly after the new information was brought to light, many netizens flooded the comment section with their reactions. Here's what they had to say:
@Ketso28 said:
"So the same people who killed Armand for exposing Transnet are behind DJ Sumbody’s murder & Tebogo’s attempted hit. We know DJ Sumbody had ties to substances we cannot name, but what about Tebogo? You don’t try to kill someone just for being an ‘ex’. What does she know?"
@FickWillem commented:
"Might be the same calibre, and even the same make, but due to the accuracy and repeatability of modern manufacturing, there is no way forensics can differentiate between two identical firearms based on bullets and shell casings alone."
@UnityInSA responded:
"The Armand Swart murder was linked to a Transnet deal. And it is believed that it was a case of mistaken identity, as the killers were probably after his Manager. There are corrupt people involved in a lot of tenders. A lot of it is BEE-related deals where there is a "middle man". The Government needs to get rid of BEE and find another way of awarding tenders."
@CareersSA1 replied:
"Cry, my beloved country...The only person to say well done to here is Mkhwanazi. If it weren’t for him, all this info would still be in the archives somewhere."
@22theboy wrote:
"The DJ Sumbody killing is deeper than that; there’s definitely something behind his death. Either they knew something that they weren’t supposed to know."

DJ Sumbody’s family perform cleansing ritual at crime scene
After DJ Sumbody's murder, his family performed a cleansing ritual at the crime scene, as reported by Briefly News. TikTok user @angelsebothoma316 posted a video of DJ Sumbody's family at the crime scene performing a cleansing ceremony.
The ceremony is a spiritual practice where many believe that the spirit of the dead must be collected from the place of death. This is done to ensure that the deceased can rest peacefully, especially if they died violently. One relative was overcome with grief and broke down during the sad TikTok video. The police were present with the family, and it looked like the car with countless bullet holes was about to be towed.
