“Whatever that they wanted to say about me is probably like 2 lines or so. It's quite misleading. And yeah, I feel like I really was used as bait and my name was dragged through the entire statement. The headline could have been something else and not my name,” Ngobese-Zuma said.

When asked to clarify whether she was fired or her contract wasn’t renewed, as Vuma FM alleges, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma said:

“I think I'll say what the letter that they gave me said, and the letter said terminated. I'll stick to that.”

Ngobese-Zuma also issued a stern warning that should the ANC not retract its statement, she will be forced to disclose the details surrounding her dismissal from Vuma FM.

“ am waiting for a response from the African National Congress to the letter my lawyers have sent. What I ideally want to do is wait for them to retract the statement they wrote. Should they not, I will be pushed into a corner and will have to go public with everything that has happened. That’s not where I want to go, because I’m trying to move forward and focus on the March for March, which is the most important thing at the moment,” she said.
