South African musician Nomceno Zikode had social media buzzing on Monday, 25 August 2025, when she showed off her brand new car on her social media.

Zikode, who previously bought a brand new Range Rover, revealed she's the owner of a brand new Bentley this week.

South Africans wondered if Zikode is celebrating her recent court case with Open Mic Productions or if she's simply spoiling herself with new wheels.

The Jerusalema singer posted her new ride on Instagram alongside her son and mother and captioned the post:

“Living the life I once prayed for.”

Fans and industry colleagues of the singer flooded her social media post to congratulate her.

Kaya FM radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo took to his X account on Monday, 25 August 2025, to respond to singer Nomcebo Zikode's new wheels.

"Now that's luxury," wrote Dhlomo.

This comes after entertainment news channel MDN News shared a photo of Zikode's new Bentley on its X account on Monday.

According to the topauto.co.za website, a brand new Bentley Continental GT-Mulliner is worth over R7 million.

Briefly News asked financial expert Fulufhelani Mashapha how social media drives luxury consumer purchases, especially for high-end items like cars. She said:

"Social media plays a significant role in influencing luxury purchases by creating aspiration, showcasing lifestyles, and making high-end products like cars more relatable through influencers and brand storytelling."

Nomcebo Zikode performs at Dundee in July
