After being suspended from Kaya 959, Sol Phenduka appears to have moved on and is using the time to promote his DJ career.

The radio personality's time with the station came to an abrupt halt on 20 August 2025 due to an ongoing legal matter involving Minnie Dlamini and the defamatory comments made about her on Podcast and Chill.

While investigations continue, he is making the most of his free time by promoting gigs and connecting with his supporters.

He posted pictures of his event fliers on Thursday, 28 August, after securing an impressive eight gigs with back-to-back events on Saturday, the 30th.

After the success of his hit single, Diqabang, which dominated music charts around South Africa, it appears that Sol may be returning to his first love.
