Actors and real-life besties, Thembinkosi Mthembu and Wiseman Mncube, left many fans questioning their relationship after they were recorded in the middle of a heated argument.

The famous thespians, known for their roles on Shaka iLembe, had a passionate football debate and seeing that they support rival South African clubs, the argument did not end well.

A passionate Orlando Pirates supporter, Mthembu viciously roasted his friend's team, while Wiseman, considering his Kaizer Chiefs' recent performance, had very few comebacks to offer.

The argument supposedly stemmed from their clubs' past matches, which saw Chiefs come out victorious in most of their games, drawing one, and climbing up to second place on the log. Meanwhile, Pirates lost two matches and sit behind TS Galaxy at number five.

The men's hilarious argument was captured in a video on 24 August 2025, posted on Wiseman's TikTok page, and had social media users hysterical with laughter.

Shaka iLembe gets renewed for a new season

In an earlier report, despite King Dingiswayo's death on Shaka iLembe, Briefly News reveals that fans will still get to watch Wiseman Mncube's character King Zwide in the coming season.

The show has reportedly been renewed for a third season, and while fans celebrated the great news, it also came with an unpleasant announcement.
