The award-winning producer and club DJ had to step in to ask netizens for assistance after the popular search engine listed him as just a few years younger than a popular African National Congress (ANC) politician.

Days after becoming a topic of discussion on social media following his drastic weight loss, DJ Shimza became a topic of discussion again when his age was questioned. The DJ, who landed his first Ibiza residency, had to step in and share his real age and ask netizens for assistance, claiming Google had made a mistake.

The alleged mistake by Google was brought to DJ Shimza’s attention when popular social media influencer Chris Excel trolled him, claiming that he was only two years younger than ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula. The post was captioned:

“The fact that the age cap between Mbalula and Shimza is only 2 years is insane 😭😭”

In response, DJ Shimza denied that he was 41 years old and took a playful jab at Chris Excel. He asked for assistance from netizens to change his age on Google. DJ Shimza’s response read:

“Can someone please help me change my age on Google 😭😭😭😭 I’m not 41 and nothing close to what this thing called Chris says I am 🤣”
