South African musician Prince Kaybee has confirmed his mother's death after Kenny Kunene's announcement on social media on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

Kaybee, who recently made headlines when he shared his weight loss journey, reveals that his mother passed away 4 days ago.

The award-winning musician shared on his X account on Saturday, 6 September 2025, that he's heartbroken over his mother's death.

"It's the 4th night of walking around the house without you physically there. Holding you as you sat on the chair that you died on, feeling your neck get stiffer as I kept on begging you not to leave me," he wrote.

The musician added that he cannot define how torn apart he is and how broken he is.

Kaybee also thanked his late mother for everything she's done for him.
