Khaboni Qubeka had South Africans on the edge of their seats with her portrayal of the villainous Queen Ntombazi on Season 2 of the award-winning Mzansi Magic historical series Shaka iLembe. Khabonina officially bid farewell to Shaka iLembe after her character was killed by Shaka Zulu's tribe during the episode that aired on Sunday, 31 August 2025.
