Reality TV star Mixon Tholo, popularly known as Tsekeleke, is trending on social media following news that he was allegedly arrested for assault.
While Tsekeleke clashed with fellow musician, Dr Malinga, in the past over donations, the disagreement never got physical. Now, the Lose it or Lose Me star has become the topic of social media chatter after being reportedly arrested for assault.
On Thursday, 12 September 2025, entertainment commentator Jabulani Macdonald took to his X account and shared that Tsekeleke had allegedly been arrested for assault. The post was captioned:
“Apparently, Tsekeleke has been arrested for assault 😭😭😭🤚🏽”

Another social media user, @HappinessGallor, confirmed that the reality TV star had been arrested. The social media user claimed that Tsekeleke’s niece initially didn’t file a police report, but did so after her head allegedly hurt for five days. The post was captioned:
“Yep, apparently he hit Neo with a bottle and her head was spinning for 5 days, and that’s when she decided to get him arrested😭😭😭🤣”
Several netizens weighed in on Tsekeleke’s alleged arrest, with some suggesting that he was better off with his ex-girlfriend Black Cat Girl, who hogged headlines after an attempted hijacking incident. Others defended Tsekeleke, arguing that Neo was disrespectful towards him.
Here are some of the comments:
@AyandaBalangile said:
“I have been deep inside this drama the whole day😭😭😭😭😭He was better off with Black Cat Girl.”
@AkonaTshonisile remarked:
“When does this one ever get to rest? One minute uyadansa, the next uyagula and then uyajola, while there uyashiywa manje, he is arrested. Let him rest, Bathong.”
@Swiiiiiiidad_7 argued:
“Neo is and has been provocative towards Tsekie; she spews harsh, negative body-shaming words toward the uncle. Neo has gone crazy, honestly and likes playing the victim. She is a kid to Tsekie, but the level of disrespect is utter nonsense.”
@KaniMolise suggested:
“He should be arrested for using another man's name, too. 😒”
@MasileLenkwang shared:
“Apparently for hitting her with an empty water bottle. She says she had a headache for 5 days🤣🤣🤣 batho ba ga Tholo 😭😭😭”
@SankoM68765 asked:
“Which Tsekeleke now? Is that guy not deceased kanti?”
@Abiathar_m questioned:
“He assaulted Neo?”
