Award-winning musician Collen Mmotla, aka Chymamusique, bid farewell to his friend, DJ Poizen, after missing his funeral service on Saturday, 13 September 2025.
The Limpopo-born star shared on his social media account on Sunday, 14 September 2025, that he's been discharged from the hospital and he's wheelchair-bound.
Mmotla shared a photo of himself and DJ Poizen on his Instagram account on Saturday, 13 September 2025, and bid farewell to his friend, who died in the tragic car accident.
"Somedays we need the lyrics, sometimes the beats, sometimes the vocals 🕊️ 🙏🏾. Goodnight, brother @poizen_rsa," he wrote.

SA reacts to DJ Poizen’s family pleading for donations
