Former 7de Laan actress Beáta Bena Green recently shared on social media that she didn't make it as a 2025 finalist for the Miss SA competition.

Green made headlines in April 2025 when she entered the Miss SA 2025 competition with a video.

The former 7de Laan star, who is a cousin to former Miss SA winner Tamaryn Green, says she's been rejected over 3 times.

The model revealed on her Instagram account on Thursday, 18 September 2025, that she entered the Miss SA competition 4 times and was rejected.

"Recorded this yesterday. Life has a way of guiding us, sometimes softly, sometimes with a heavier hand. What may look like a closed door or a dream unfulfilled often becomes the very turning point that leads us somewhere deeper, truer, and more meaningful," she captioned the video.

Green also wished the top 10 finalists luck in their journey toward the crown and added that she's rooting for them.

The actress reportedly won the Miss Teen South Africa title in 2013, but has been rejected 4 times by the main pageant.

Green says in the video: “I didn't make it again. Sometimes you don’t get what you want even though you worked hard for it. But you get what you need, and other doors open."

The model adds that it s*cks that she didn't make it as she knows that she is passionate about the brand, the organisation, and the country.
