Mpume "Six" Nyamane used Women's Day to deliver a deeply personal message to young girls, drawing on her own journey and the women who raised her to reframe what it truly means to be strong.
Speaking to BONA Magazine, the Homecoming star reflected on the values that have guided her and the wisdom she hopes will stay with young women long after the day has passed.
At the heart of her message was a simple but powerful affirmation. "You are enough. Not almost, not one day — right now," she told the publication, urging girls not to wait for permission to step into who they are.

"Being a woman means being strong in ways people don't always see — and still showing up anyway."

Actress praises her female family members
Nyamane credited her mother and female relatives as her greatest source of inspiration, saying they instilled in her the ability to stand firm in her identity, love wholeheartedly, and carry herself with dignity regardless of circumstance.
She also cautioned young women against the trap of people-pleasing at the expense of their own wellbeing, reminding them that they "can't pour from an empty cup."
Her final message to young girls was clear and direct:
"Don't shrink yourself or rush your journey. Take up space, trust your voice, and become whoever you want to be, at your own pace."
