DJ Zinhle has opened up about the emotional journey behind ZeeNation Fest, sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude to everyone who helped bring her vision to life. The post, shared across her social media pages on 11 August 2026, was an outpouring of love directed at her fans, her team, her industry colleagues, and most importantly, her husband Murdah Bongz.
The Western-inspired festival was held at the Nasrec Expo Centre on 9 August to mark Women's Day, and by all accounts, it was a major moment for the award-winning DJ and entrepreneur.
In her statement, Zinhle was candid about the difficulties she faced during the planning process, acknowledging that there were times when quitting felt like the easier path.
"Glory to God, He really did it! May @zeenationfest be a reminder that you can do anything."

The Sorry hitmaker reserved some of her most personal words for her husband, former Black Motion star Murdah Bongz, describing him as her anchor during the toughest stretches of the planning process.
"@murdahbongz, you're incredible, thank you for your patience and support. I ran to you when things got tough, and you are always there to encourage me. Thank you for your gentle love."
Zinhle also acknowledged the ZeeNation Fest team, including her collaborators, promising to continue opening doors and sharing everything she has learnt with those around her.
