The emotional post touched on widowhood, rediscovering herself and the courage it took to start fresh - not from scratch, but from everything she had already lived through.

"At 34, I started again. Not from nothing, from experience, from wisdom, from everything life had taught me. This time, I chose me too," she wrote.

She described a period where the demands of others had pulled her away from the version of herself she once knew - a 22-year-old full of ambition and big dreams. It was only when she took a step back that she recognised something important.

"I realised that my story was still being written."

The mother of three revealed she had gone back to school and, despite being among the oldest in her class, said she had never felt more alive. Far from feeling out of place, she described the experience as one of the most energising decisions she had made for herself.

Ratile was candid about the realities of juggling studies, motherhood and running a business. Rather than framing the exhaustion as a burden, she reframed it entirely.

"There is something powerful about being tired from building a life that feels fulfilling to me."

The former Mommy Club star made clear that nothing could shake how she now sees herself - as a woman who chose her dreams, her purpose and her joy. In closing, she directed her words at other women who may still be putting themselves last, describing it as "setting themselves on fire to keep others warm."

"I wish for the protector in you to come alive, and for your tolerance for self-abandonment to die."

She also reminded her followers that reinvention has no deadline, writing, "There is no expiry date on becoming who you were meant to be."
