Disney's Zombies franchise has lost one of its brightest stars. Carla Jeffery, the actress beloved for bringing Bree to life in the hit series, passed away on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. She was 33 years old. No cause of death has been confirmed at this stage.
The news was shared publicly by her manager, Carla Alexander of Alexanders Talent Management, who took to social media to pay tribute to the late actress.

Alexander said Jeffery joined the agency at 12, meaning the two shared over two decades together. "It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Carla Jeffery," Alexander wrote. "Carla joined the Alexanders Talent Management family at the age of 12. For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and incredibly talented woman whose radiant smile could light up any room."
