Radio and TV personality Anele Mdoda has weighed in on the Connie Ferguson tenant scandal that has been doing the rounds on social media. The actress and businesswoman is reportedly locked in a bitter dispute with tenants who owe her a staggering amount in unpaid rent and are refusing to vacate her property.

Connie Ferguson's tenant trouble

According to reports, Ferguson's tenants owe her approximately R500,000 in unpaid rent. To make matters worse, they have dug their heels in and are refusing to leave, forcing the star to consider taking them to court at her own expense.

The situation highlights a frustration shared by many South African property owners, where legal proceedings to evict non-paying tenants can be a lengthy and costly process, leaving landlords out of pocket while owing parties remain in occupation.

"The one and only Connie Fergueson? What is happening? Sometimes I don't understand people; that is why I don't like renting a house to the same person for more than 2yrs! I also have a tenant whom I am taking out in December… He now gives me attitude when I want to come around for a check-up."
