A throwback clip from Kaya FM, now Kaya 959, has found its way back onto social media timelines, reigniting conversation about Wendy Parker after her ex-husband, former Bafana Bafana star Bernard Parker, went public with news of their relationship split.
The footage, originally filmed during a Diski Divas studio segment in 2015, shows what begins as a relatively composed discussion before escalating into a heated backstage confrontation. On-screen captions reference both "Wendy Parker" and "Bernard Parker," and the clip carries an unmistakable tension as voices are raised and things quickly become physical. During the altercation, one voice is heard shouting, "Step out of my way, Wendy! I will tear you up! Pregnant or not!"

At the time, Wendy addressed the drama directly with The Citizen, pushing back against how the media portrayed the backstage scene. "There was no violence. There was pushing and pointing in faces, and a bit of hair pulling. It was not as violent as the media has made out. No klaps were given out," she said.
