Gogo Skhotheni Blasts Sihle the Designer for Revealing Cyan Boujee’s Pregnancy

Gogo Skhotheni has waded into the growing controversy surrounding celebrity fashion designer Siphosihle Masango, popularly known as Sihle the Designer, and she came armed with receipts.

On 17 October 2026, the sangoma-turned-DJ posted a video making serious allegations against the designer, saying his decision to expose Cyan Boujee's pregnancy was what pulled her into the fray.

Skhotheni was direct about her reason for speaking out, questioning what gave Masango the right to out a woman who had chosen to keep her pregnancy private.

"What gives you the right to speak about a woman's pregnancy, when she never announced it? Do you know why people hide their pregnancies? Who do you think you are?" she said in the video.

Skhotheni claims Masango gossiped about his own clients

The revelation that truly caught attention was Skhotheni's account of her own time at Masango's studio. Having worked with him before, she claimed that during a visit to have an outfit made, the designer spoke freely about other clients in a way she found deeply unprofessional.

"I visited your studio to have an outfit made, and you were gossiping about your own clients," she said, before specifically calling out remarks she alleged Masango made about media personality Mihlali Ndamase.

"Do you remember how you called Mihlali a diva, saying she thinks she's better than everyone and that you don't want to work with her anymore because she does her things at the last minute?"

She made clear this was only the beginning, warning that she was prepared to release further information about the designer.

Skhotheni's video is the latest in a string of public callouts that have put Masango under serious pressure. The wave began when content creator Big Nandz went public with her experience of paying for an outfit that never arrived, with her calls and messages to the designer apparently going unanswered for months.

Her story opened the floodgates, with other former clients coming forward with similar complaints about unprofessionalism. Cyan Boujee was among them, alleging she paid for a jumpsuit that was never delivered.

Masango responded to Cyan's accusations by posting screenshots of their private conversations, chats which appeared to confirm that she had been pregnant, as many had speculated. It was this move that sparked Skhotheni's response, with the mother of two saying it struck a personal nerve.

Online users have largely sided with those speaking out, with many hoping more clients will share their own experiences with the designer.
