Former Isitha: The Enemy actor Zamani Mbatha has left Mzansi Magic's multi-award-winning series Shaka ILembe as Nomhlanjana.

The talented actor joined the second season of the hit series to star alongside his sister Nomzamo Mbatha, who plays the role of Queen Nandi.

Zamani exits the show after actor Thembinkosi Mthembu, who played the character of King Dingiswayo.

Viewers of the TV show praised Zamani Mbatha for his portrayal of Nomhlanjana. While others celebrated the actor's departure as Nomhlanjana's father, King Zwide, played by Wiseman Mncube, killed fan-favourite character, King Dingiswayo.
