It seems like the showbiz industry is opening up for creatives to get jobs on a roll this year after many complaints from actors on social media about the lack of getting booked for roles, and the SAFTA award-winning star, Vuyo Biyela, got himself a new role.

On Thursday, 28 August 2025, the entertainment commentator Jabu Macdonald recently made an exciting announcement about the star joining the cast of Mzansi Magic's latest telenovela, Genesis.

This job came after his previous show, Sibongile & The Dlaminis, closed its curtains in July 2025.
