Izingane Zesthembu viewers are not holding back after Abongwe Mseleku's behaviour in the show's latest episode caught everyone's attention. Fans have taken to social media to accuse the reality star of being arrogant and condescending, drawing uncomfortable comparisons to her mother, MaCele.
The episode in question featured Musa Mseleku gathering his older children - Mpumelelo, Lwandle, Mpilo, Sne and Abongwe - for a meeting aimed at addressing each child's achievements and shortcomings. The patriarch touched on several sore points, including Mpumelelo's failure to provide financial support to his mother, and the habit between Mpilo and MaKhumalo of apparently influencing each other negatively.
When the discussion turned to Abongwe, Musa pointed to her recent graduation as evidence that she was qualified to head the family's production company, Thanx Ma Productions. Mpumelelo pushed back, telling his father that his sister was not the right person for the role. Throughout this exchange, Abongwe sat right next to her brother and said nothing, allowing the meeting to end without voicing a single objection.
Her diary session told a very different story. Away from the family, Abongwe, a recent AFDA graduate, made it clear she believes she is the most qualified person to run the company. She also pointed out that neither she nor her siblings had ever challenged Mpumelelo when he was handed opportunities he was arguably not qualified for either.

The contrast between her silence in the room and her boldness in the diary did not sit well with viewers. On 27 August 2027, X user @Chandler_Ban579 wrote: "I am scared for the siblings if Abongwe leads the family; she seems arrogant just because she went to school and is quiet in front of them but has the most to say on the side."
