Penny Ntuli is stepping into a brand-new chapter, and she couldn't contain her excitement about it. The media personality took to her social media pages on 18 September 2026 to share the thrilling news that she had landed a role on eTV's eGagasini Waves of Change.
"WeMzala sengthole umsebenzi eGagasini (I've found a job at Gagasini)."
According to DailySUN, both the show's name and the Durban-based radio station Gagasi FM draw from the same cultural root. The word "eGagasini" means "place of waves" in isiZulu, a nod to Durban's beloved coastal identity. The soapie airs on weekdays from Monday to Friday at 19:30 and features well-known South African talent including Meshack Mavuso and Gugu Gumede.
Ntuli's announcement briefly confused some followers, who wondered whether she was returning to Gagasi FM or whether the shared name was simply a coincidence.
