Uthando Nes'thembu reality TV star MaKhumalo has set tongues wagging after sharing a selfie-style video from inside a moving car, telling her followers she is done putting herself last. The clip, posted on Instagram on Sunday, 20 September 2026, quickly spread across social media as fans tried to read between the lines of her message.
Filmed with a sunroof open against a backdrop of rolling green hills, MaKhumalo spoke directly to the camera in a candid, upbeat tone. She told viewers she had grown tired of having to repeatedly reassure people that she is alive and well every time she posts online, and that she has decided to do something for herself.
"For once, I'm choosing to do something for myself and to myself. I'm sure as a human being, I'm allowed to be selfish," she said in the video.
