The Dallas Cowboys have once again been named the NFL's most valuable franchise by Forbes magazine, topping the list for the 17th straight year at a valuation of $9 billion. The list released by Forbes this week -- with the American football season due to kick off on September 7 -- estimates the club owned by Jerry Jones is worth 13 percent more than they were last year.

Chinese manufacturers will be out in force at next week's IAA auto show, one of the industry's biggest, revving their new electric models on the turf of German carmakers, which have been lagging in the e-mobility race. At the same time, European manufacturers are facing increasingly stiff competition from Chinese carmakers which are touting their vehicles at far lower prices.

Retired football great Ronaldinho denied involvement in an alleged cryptocurrency pyramid scheme bearing his name in testimony Thursday before a Brazilian congressional committee. "It is not true I am the founder and controlling partner of 18K Ronaldinho," the 43-year-old former player told the lower-house committee investigating the alleged scam.
