Man Warns Men From Sleeping Over at Women’s Place: “Stop Dictating”

Why men shouldn't sleep over at women's houses?

In a video he shared on TikTok, Joseph warned men not to go for sleepovers at women's places, believing it was risky.

He urged men to at least help the women with their bills, like shopping for them or doing little things that would make them happy, and not just show up barehanded.

"Usiwahi lala kwa dem. Kuna hii breed mpya unapata jamaa ameenda kwa dem hajabeba hata shopping na ikifika time ya kula, anakula na kulala. Analala hata ndethe na haogopi (Never sleep at a woman's place. There's this new breed of men who go to women's places and don't even bother to go with shopping, and when it's time to eat, they eat and sleep. They even sleep without clothes and aren't afraid)," he said.

He further urged them not to be choosy and take whatever was offered by the host.

"Stop dictating and take care of smaller things."

Reactions to man's stance

Though some netizens supported his sentiments, some, especially men, claimed nothing was wrong with sleeping over at a woman's house, even without providing.

Meanwhile, Briefly News reported that sleepovers when dating are common today; however, Mzansi men have personal reservations. Twitter user @Bongie_Haemz took to the Bluebird app to ask why men are fearful of spending the night at a woman's place.

Although some gents didn't go into too much detail, some comments revealed they had uncomfortable past experiences.
