Heading north, the Northern Cape’s wealthiest is retail tycoon Christo Wiese, with a net worth of R29 billion, largely built through Pepkor and Shoprite. KwaZulu-Natal is home to Vivian Reddy, worth around R1.9 billion, known for his business ventures in the energy sector and property development. In the Eastern Cape, Sisa Ngebulana leads with R400 million, primarily from property development, including his Billion Group and Rebosis Property Fund.

Finally, in the North West province, Vincent Mntambo is the wealthiest, with R1 billion from investments spanning mining, energy, and media.
