The clip of the man's verbal attack received thousands of views on social media. People expressed their frustration with seeing the man who expressed his racist views.
In a video posted on X by @MDNnewss, a man at Silver Lakes Pretoria was yelling at another driver for following in an incident before the recording. The person recording accused the angry man of being drunk, and he lashed out at the driver while making death threats. As the man drove away, he yelled, "I hate you blacks," in the video shared on 16 August 2025, and that has since gone viral.
