The group of men explained their reasons for choosing the life of crime and their dreams. One of the guys shared a heartfelt story that touched many South Africans.
Most of the alleged gangsters highlighted that gangsterism was their hustle and way of survival. The TikTok video was posted on Saturday and has garnered over 394K views.

Old footage of four alleged gangsters from Cape Town went viral on TikTok after one social media account, @diverse.studio6, shared it on their account. The alleged criminals took turns to explain why they chose the life of crime during their sit-down interview/documentary.

The first member shared that his dream is to be a gangster, to hustle and make money. The second guy dreamt of living in Mexico, where Vato Slokos began, and having a lot of money.
The third man shared that he dreamt of having a lot of money and becoming a billionaire, whether he worked for it or not. The last man wanted to be a soccer player, but explained that he could never be one because his gang members would chase him around.
In the same interview, the group of men confessed to using witchcraft in order to carry out their missions:
“We cut off their private parts and sell them. We also pay a sangoma over a thousand because if you pay less, none of the medication will work.”
The alleged gangsters also shared that they killed their mates simply because they were too drunk. One of them highlighted that they assaulted one of their rival’s mom after breaking into his home and stealing their television.
