A quest for land ownership
Her second visit involved meeting the chief and villagers. For this crucial meeting, she came prepared with a case of beer, two bottles of gin, three two-litre cool drinks, and R500. Despite the meeting being set for 10 am, they waited for all villagers to arrive, beginning with a prayer. Only two people were seeking land that day.
