Sports content creator and self-proclaimed Minister of Champions, Rory Petzer, reminded South Africans that they have a big weekend ahead of them. Not only will Bafana Bafana be playing, but also the Proteas, Springboks, and Springbok Women.

On Thursday, 4 September, 2025, Rory took to his TikTok account and said to his followers, whom he calls Champions:

"I need you to focus for the next 80-odd hours!"

He explained that at 6 pm on Friday, 5 September 2025, Bafana Bafana will face Lesotho's national soccer team to qualify for the World Cup. The World Cup will take place across three North American countries—the United States, Canada, and Mexico—from 11 June to 19 July, 2026.

"We are at the top of our World Cup qualifier log," said Rory.

The enthusiastic content creator then shared that at 9.05am on Saturday, 6 September, 2025, people would have to wake up early to start a fire for a braai to prepare for the Springboks' match against the All Blacks at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand.

"We have never beaten them at Eden Park. They haven't lost a game at Eden Park since 1994."

Unfortunately, the Springboks have not tasted victory at the sports venue since 1937.

Then, at 12pm on Sunday, 7 September, 2025, the Proteas and England will take to the grounds for the third ODI, with South Africa already leading 2-0. Finally, on the same day at 5.45pm, the Springbok Women will face France at the cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens in England for the Women's Rugby World Cup.
