A woman in Johannesburg shared the unexpected moment she saw South Africa's President Cyril Ramaphosa casually strolling the city's streets. The woman shared that even though she had an issue with the politician, all the problems faded away at that moment.

TikTok user Hue added the video to her account on 8 September, 2025. The clip showed Ramaphosa, wearing a tracksuit, a cap, and sneakers, waving at the woman and others in a car as he crossed the road. While it seemed he was alone, he was surrounded by security in plain clothes who still kept their distance.

Hue, who noted that she saw Ramaphosa the day before posting the video, wrote in the post:

"I find it so interesting how excited I was when I saw him. I have very strong opinions about this man, yet when I saw him, I forgot all of them and was glamoured by his celebrity."

The social media user continued with a laugh:

"I mean, this was mighty random. Next time I see him, I promise to give him a piece of my mind on the issues. This time, he caught me off guard. Next time I see you, it's on sight!"

Thousands of social media users headed to the comment section since the video's publication, and couldn't believe how 'chilled' he was walking the streets of Johannesburg. People also commented on the President's security and thought they weren't properly securing the political figure.

"If I saw him, I'd never be this happy to see him. Straight away, I'd tell him how he is the worst president in South African history."
